HAPPY HALLOWEEN GHOULS!
No matter where Nea Dune goes, she brings intelligence, class, beauty, & humility. With every project she is involved with, she brings professionalism, an open mind, and a strong work ethic. Without a doubt Nea is one of the best in our industry, and I await the day where she is an A-list actress in Hollywood as well. It is an honor to know Nea, and it is an honor to give you, our fans, this interview with one of my favorite people.
TAMD: Since your move from Croatia to LA, you have added a lot of heavy hitting credits to your resume. Which project thus far has stood out the most to you?
Nea Dune: My fave acting-wise was Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as the first time I saw myself on the big screen. Modeling-wise there's a couple of faves - catwalking my longest ever runway for Emmy-winner Perry Meek at Metropolitan Fashion Week, hairmodeling for Guy Tang & shooting for BCM, my face on billboards repping Manic Panic all over the world... blessed to be able to bring a dash of alt into everything I get hired for!
TAMD: A few projects are currently in post-production (according to IMDB) can you talk about any of them?
Nea: Not really as most are covered by NDAs, but watch out for Bright on Netflix in December! From other projects coming out soon check me out in new music video for Maroon 5, my 2nd one for Fall Out Boy, new commercial for Final Fantasy XV and 3rd episode of webseries GradGirls!
TAMD: Let's talk about the images seen here, tell us about the concept behind each. Any funny stories to go along with them.
Nea: (Vampire) The set was inspired by TrueBlood with my trademark creepy black scleras and custom fangs, we went for a natural look to portray a casual, everyday vampire. (Net) I wore a fishnet stocking that was literally smashing my face while Petra was painting over but hey, we landed a cover of Hollywood Makeup Magazine! (Moth) The set was inspired by Silence of the Lambs with an editorial Samhain vibe. I was drooling so much with the deathmoth in my mouth but the outcome was well worth it! (Reflection) Yay for trippy manips and creepy poses! This halloweeny set was exhibited in NYC's Soho gallery for digital art many moons ago and kinda reminds of AHS imagery, don't you think?
TAMD: Finally, seeing as this is a Halloween themed interview, what is Halloween like for you?
Nea: It's Halloween every day for me! It's my favorite period of the year when I shop for anything and everything for my everyday life.
